Not all softener salt is the same. Different systems and water conditions call for different salt types — we’ll make sure you get the right one.
Solar Salt Crystals
Produced by solar evaporation of saltwater. High purity, low insoluble content. A reliable everyday choice for most water softeners in moderate to hard water conditions.
Pellet Salt
Compressed salt pellets with very high purity — typically 99.8% sodium chloride. Pellets dissolve more cleanly and are less likely to cause bridging or mushing in the brine tank than crystals.
Iron Fighter Salt
Specially formulated pellet salt with additives designed to help keep resin beds clean and prevent iron fouling. Ideal when iron levels are moderate and you want to protect your softener’s resin.
Ice Melt Delivered with Your Salt
Iowa winters mean icy driveways and walkways — and another heavy product to haul home from the store. Add ice melt to your salt delivery order and we’ll bring it along on the same trip.
